Sensory Support Worker

All about the Role

Do you have experience in working with people who have a hearing loss and would like to enable them to live more indpendently in their own homes? 

You will be working with people to provide assessments and provision of specialist equipment to help them in their day to day activities and promote their well being.

We are looking for someone who can problem solve, has great organisation and is sensitive and caring towards people who may have additional difficulties in communicating.

This role is for 30 hours.

All about You
 
  • You have a qualification in British Sign Language 
  • You have a basic understanding of therapeutic interventions
  • You are motivated and caring, with the ability to deal empathetically with client groups
  • You have a full driving licence and are willing and able to travel in and around the Peterborough area
