Further Information
The Peterborough MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) s a collaborative partnership between our statutory partners and co-located agencies which supports highly effective joint working and decision making for our children and families in Peterborough.

Our MASH operates out of the police headquarters, also known as “The Hex”, which facilitates a positive working environment and many opportunities in a collaborative space. Therefore, for this post you will also be required to undertake and pass Police vetting.

We are constructing solid foundations on which good practice can flourish.

This includes:

· setting out a refreshed practice model with innovative ways of working with children and families,

· a restorative culture that enables professional learning and development,

· developing our workforce with a new dynamic leadership team in place and an evolving workforce strategy.

We believe that the best practice is ‘family shared practice’, where many decisions about a child or young person are taken with them, their families and carers.

Senior Practitioner

· A qualified and registered social worker with formative experience in safeguarding and decision making, preferably in MASH environments.
You will bring a track record of good researching skills; safe decision making and a strong work ethic which mirrors the pace of the environment you work in. Your approach to your work with our children is values informed and you have a positive attitude and approach to working with partner agencies.

We look forward to welcoming your application

This is a rolling campaign, and we will review applications daily so please don't wait for the closing date to apply. Candidates will be progressed shortly after they apply, and the opportunity will be filled as soon as we identify a suitable candidate, which may be before the closing date. So please don't hesitate, apply today

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve
