Do you believe in the power of the Family Safeguarding approach; with multi-disciplinary teams and positive results, delivered through significantly better outcomes for some of the most vulnerable and at-risk children.
Do you want easy access to complementary teams and services, ideally co-located in the same building, to make collaborative work much easier? At Peterborough, the Housing, Children with Disabilities, Adult Social Care, Legal and other teams are all easily accessed within a purpose-built office, which benefits from large river and green space views and a city centre location that is also close to main road and rail transport links.

All about You
- You have current registration with Social Work England
- You are a diligent and detail oriented individual.
- You are experienced while still being willing to learn new things and maintain your own continuing professional development.
- You have the willingness and ability to travel between locations.
- You have an in depth knowledge of the legal and policy frameworks and guidance that inform and mandate social work practice in Children’s Social Care.

Our team is part of an integrated service which means we are closely aligned with the Youth Justice Service and exploitation service. Our social workers work alongside a variety of people including police officers, health workers, psychologists, education workers, substance misuse workers.
(A lot of people, we know. This just means our jobs never get boring!)
Our evidence-based approach is restorative and creates a shared language and culture, where we focus on building relationships which support good outcomes for young people.
We are fortunate to have extensive support from Senior Management and Managers who truly want to see their team members progress and succeed.
