Peterborough City Council are looking for a dynamic and innovative Young Peoples Worker to offer support to young people in need of support as part of a brand new Targeted Youth Support Service.

If you are passionate about changing the lives of Young People, we are offering a fantastic opportunity to work for the newly created Targeted Youth Support Service. The role of the Young People’s Worker is to provide a mixture of individual and group interventions with young people and parents to improve outcomes, reduce risk and build resilience.

You will lead on 1 to 1 work with young people with risky behaviours, targeted issue based/ themed groups and street youth work that addresses antisocial behaviour, child sexual and criminal exploitation prevention as well as deliver summer transitional programs that support young people’s positive progression.
