An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Peterborough City Council as a Young People Worker to join our 11-19 Team within the Targeted Support Service.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours.

The post holder will work directly with young people and families in their school, home, and
communities.

Main purposes to include: -
- Co-ordinate and deliver group interventions for young people at Emerging Risk of
Exploitation
- Provide individual interventions that can improve outcomes around: - school attendance,
challenging behaviour, risky behaviours and building positive relationships.
- Re-engage young people with their communities.
- Offer parenting support through Evidenced Based Interventions
- Engage with community partners to signpost positive opportunities for young people and
their families.

You will be part of a professional multi-disciplinary team, where opportunities will be offered for continued professional development.
