An experienced and highly motivated individual required to join a dedicated workforce development team supporting adult and children’s social care.
About the Role:
As a workforce development officer you will develop, co-ordinate, commission, deliver and monitor effective programmes of learning & development to meet identified needs within the Council and wider workforce in particular Adult and Children’s Social Care. Taking a lead role in development and implementation of training plans specific to individual areas of responsibility. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders including private and voluntary care and support providers, Health, Local Authorities and Sector Skills Councils.
About You:
You will have experience of designing and delivering training and identifying learning and development to meet the needs of the workforce. You will have excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills and have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively. You will have a good understanding of up to date Adult and or Children’s Social Care legislation and best practice and knowledge of the relevant sector skills councils.
