Four transport professionals are required to deliver and support the transport vision and aspirations of a rapidly growing city. The roles will include development of transport projects and policy, programme management and monitoring, preparation and delivery of major projects and management of street lighting maintenance and capital projects.

Committed transport professionals are sought to join the team responsible for the policy formulation, planning the cities transport requirements and the commissioning of transport and infrastructure needs in Peterborough.

These posts will be involved in delivery of the Local Transport Plan, the capital programme, local sustainable transport fund, the scheme delivery programming, monitoring, contract/consultant management, funding bids, street lighting and major projects development and delivery. You will also be required to perform public consultation, deal with queries and act as a point of contact for members of the Council, the public, and other agencies and stakeholders. The post holders will also be required to assist the manager to commission and monitor work from the Council’s various consultant and contractor partners.

These are challenging posts working within a busy team environment. You will need to be adaptable, innovative, and capable of delivering a complex and varied workload.
