Westcombe Engineering employs disabled employees in their workshop to manufacture a range of high quality components in a variety of metals. Due to significant business growth we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the team, and take responsibility for all aspects of Supply Chain. Key requirements are:

1. Receive customer schedules and interpret requirements into appropriate process mechanism.

2. Translate the incoming customer information into the necessary production schedules in a timely and effective manner to suppliers.

3. Generate and communicate delivery schedules in a timely and effective manner to suppliers.

4. Maintain in real time BOMs (Bill of Materials) for all the company systems.

5. Attain and maintain in real time routing accuracy for all of the company's systems.

6. Attain and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all system changes, BOM changes, Item and Parts Masters, ECR (Engineering Changer Requests) and project files and to update and maintain standard operating procedures and all relevant company quality procedures.

7. Attain and maintain in real time 100% stock accuracy within our systems.

8. Progress chase raw materials to ensure no loss to production or Customer.

9. To lead stocktaking processes and to advise and assist as necessary to aim for 100% stock accuracy.

10. Carry out PI checks and thoroughly investigate any variance, following through to root cause and create countermeasures that deal effectively with the concerns permanently.

11. Work as a positive and flexible member of the Operations Team in a variety of ways to ensure that production targets, quality standards and deadlines are achieved.

12. Lead relevant meetings with regard to stock accuracy and supply chain improvements, generate relevant meetings and leads as necessary to achieve your objectives.

13. Working with Manufacturing Engineering Projects Leader, Manufacturing Leaders and Quality Improvement Leader to ensure the smooth introduction of new products for safe launch into the business.

14. Carry out controlled packaging checks and then resolve any packaging issues following company procedures.
