This is an exciting time to join Peterborough City Council as we have recently had a successful inspection by OFSTED. The vacant posts have come about due to a refocus of the service.
Peterborough City Council is currently recruiting for supervising contact officers.
You will be joining a well-established team who has recently refocused how it delivers the service. You will be supervising contact to enable children to safely see their parents. Your written work will be of a standard to be submitted to court as most of the families you are working with are in this arena. Your interpersonal skills of communication, sensitivity, confidentiality linked to your experience of working with children and families in other setting will be important in this role.
