This newly created role will provide strategic leadership and management of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough admissions services and teams, ensuring and securing compliance with the Schools Admissions Code and Appeals Code. This will include oversight of the two authorities’ respective data systems, ensuring data integrity and functionality of these systems and exploring opportunities to move to a single, integrated system.
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need provide evidence that you are, amongst other things:
• an experienced manager with sound and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of admissions legislation and the associated statutory responsibilities for local authorities and own admission authority schools;
• a highly effective communicator; negotiator and problem-solver;
• able to manage change confidently;
• experienced in partnership working at a strategic level
