Peterborough City Council have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated transitions officer to join their ‘SAM’ team.

The Statutory Assessment & Monitoring Service are responsible for managing the statutory review process for an identified cohort of children & young people to ensure smooth and timely progression for children at phase transfer.

This interesting and rewarding role will involve working within educational settings to model, train and encourage best practice for Children & Young People (CYP) with and without ECHP’s at phase transfer with SEND.

Our ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the SEND code of practice, excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as being highly organised with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
