Further Information
We are seeking to appoint social workers within the fostering service to cover maternity leave from the start of, March and May 2016. It is expected that this will be for a period of 12 months, although there may be the opportunity to extend this.
We are looking for a qualified social worker with a positive and enthusiastic commitment to supporting the fostering service in all areas.
Peterborough fostering service is a stable, committed and dynamic team with an excellent local reputation locally for the support offered to children and foster carers.
The successful post holder will be involved in recruiting, assessing and ongoing support for foster carers.
As a prerequisite for this role, the ability to travel both locally and occasionally further afield, and to have flexibility in your working week is required.
There may be an opportunity to be seconded to the team.
