As a 0 to 25 Disability Service our client group is disabled children and their families and those young people requiring support to transition into adult services and early adulthood.
The service operates as one service of two teams; a 0 to 18 team and a transitions team for 14 to 25. There is some cross over with some social workers developing the knowledge and skills to manage case work of both children and young adults.
We are looking for an experienced social worker to work mainly with the 0 to 18 cohort.
Experienced social workers who have an interest in or experience of working with disabled children and young people are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to work in this developing service area.
