Do you have a passion to share your knowledge and experience through teaching?

There is an exciting new opportunity to be involved in a new project where your knowledge, experience and qualifications are needed.
City College Peterborough are seeking talented tutors, sector experts or people with experience of the sector, to share in the success of the Health and Care Sector Work Academy. We are looking for those who can teach on a range of qualification and non- qualification courses across city and county and can help learners wishing to move into the Health and Care Sectors or develop those from within the sector.

Subjects required include: Health and Care Sector (knowledge and experience only or qualified tutors) and ESOL; Functional English and Maths.
The ideal candidates will have a commitment to improving the confidence, skills and abilities of learners and they will be passionate about education and have proven subject knowledge.
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Establish effective working relationships with learners
• Engage learners through providing innovative and stimulating lessons
• Assess, monitor, support and record learner progress
• Work as part of a team to achieve timely results

Pay scales are dependent on the courses taught and any teaching qualifications held.

Please note that the project is running across both Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and therefore might involve travelling outside of the City as appropriate.

Whilst we continue to welcome applications from experienced teaching professionals, teaching experience is not essential. We will be delighted to support the professional development of individuals who are passionate about the value of literacy and numeracy skills; have excellent subject knowledge, with a desire to join the education profession.
