We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is looking to develop their career in a client centred community based Learning Disability service. Applications would be welcome from therapists who would like an opportunity to influence the development of the service and who have extensive experience in working as a qualified Occupational Therapist, in the areas of Learning disability.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary community setting to provide clinically effective, person centred, evidence based Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to adults with learning disabilities. As an autonomous practitioner you will manage a specialist case load providing assessment and interventions of the health and social care needs of adults with a learning disability. You will be able to deliver a high standard of evidence based individual care, have excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be flexible to meet the needs of a service.
You will be professionally responsible for all aspects of your own work, including management of patients and other professional activities.
