The Building Control department is looking for a Building Control professional to help further progress the department, dealing with a variety of projects from domestic work, large scale commercial and high-rise residential.

The department is open to new ideas and implementing new and innovative ways of working to keep up with the fast-paced nature of the construction, relevant legislation and regulation. We ideally would like an individual who would be willing to provide support and assistance to members of the team with experience in working on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

The job comes with a competitive starting salary (£48,870 annual salary including 10% market supplement), professional membership of appropriate body, training opportunities and progression, agile working, Competitive Pension scheme, car lease schemes and cycle to work schemes.

You will be a surveyor with experience in building control, with a minimum of a class 2 ‘Registered Building Inspector’ who is looking to progress further in your career. Peterborough Building Control are committed to the training and the continued professional development of its staff in line with legislation and responsibilities/development under the Building Safety Regulator and BICoF.
