Further Information
The Reward and Benefits team plays one of the most crucial role in an organisation by attracting, motivating, and keeping talent while fostering employee satisfaction and engagement, ultimately contributing to its success.
That’s a powerful reason to go to work each day. And it’s even more powerful when those benefits work for you too.
Our Reward & Benefit Officer position is a hybrid role so during a normal week you will sit in our modern, purpose-built city centre home at least twice a week (which has cathedral, river and green space views).
There is also the flexibility for you to complete your work hours around school runs, or other responsibilities and you will be able to discuss this with your line manager when you join.
If values are important to you, then you’ll love that you can take 2 days a year - full pay - to volunteer in your local community.
Does this sound like somewhere you could feel happy? Read on to see if you could be a fit.
You have experience supplying reward and benefit advice to hiring managers, in order to help them meet their recruitment needs.
You have a good understanding of (and keep up to date with) relevant legislation, national guidelines, and how these could affect your organisation.
You have experience supporting role benchmarking, job evaluation and helping your organisation to understand the wider employment market, to ensure your offer is competitive.
You have been part of the delivery and support of reward cycle activities so are familiar with pay reviews, reward policies and can help resolve queries, or escalate complex issue to the right person if needed.
You place equality and diversity at the heart of all your practices, helping your organisation to attract a diverse range of candidates to apply for roles.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
