The Revenues and Benefits Service has a vital role in the billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates.
We currently have an opportunity to join our team as a Revenues Team Leader.
You will lead a team to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective local taxation administration and collection.
In addition to organising and managing the day to day functions of your team, you will take a lead on the technical and complex aspects related to the provision of local taxation services to customers.
What you will need to do the role:
This role requires the ideal candidate to have significant experience in working within a Revenues and Benefits department, ideally using the Capita Academy Revenues system. Alternative relevant experience on other equivalent revenues systems will be considered.
Ideally you will also have experience and competency in the use of Information@work and demonstratble supervisory experience delivering local taxation services to customers, including knowledge and experience of local taxation recovery and enforcement processes
