Clare Lodge is a 16 bed secure children’s’ home for girls. They are placed under s.25 of The Children Act. They have complex histories of exploitation, abuse; some self-harm and may have mental health difficulties.
We are looking for full time Residential workers for day shifts and Relief Residential workers for days and night shifts (Bank). An experience of having worked with children & young people is desirable. However, we will consider other relevant experience if it is suitable to the setting and client group and the challenges that arise in this type of environment.
Resilience, patience, kindness and a good sense of humour are key skills. The role involves working early and late shifts, weekends, sleep ins, bank holidays etc. There will be an opportunity to undertake NVQ in Childcare after the probationary period.
We are holding a presentation evening on 27th March from 6-8pm.
