CamPlay run Saturday clubs in Chatteris, Ely, March, Whittlesey, Wisbech, Huntingdon, St Neots and Cambridge, Community Clubs in March, Wisbech, Huntingdon and Grafham and Holiday clubs in Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, March, St Neots and Wisbech.

We are looking for motivated and reliable Play Workers to support disabled children and young people aged 6-19 years to access fun and new experiences within a club-based setting.

CamPlay staff use a child centered approach to encourage independence and social skills, whilst supporting our young people’s individual needs and build positive relationships.

You will be creative and want to get involved with the young people at the clubs, taking part in a range of activities with them.

It’s a busy place to be at CamPlay however, working within our supportive team, you will enjoy your work with us and feel a real sense of achievement on the way home!

You need to be able to be part of the hardworking and friendly team but you will need to be able to think on your feet and work from your own creativity at times, as well.

Flexibility is really important when working with our young people, environments can change and you’ll need to be a great communicator to make sure that our young people have the best time when they are with us.

If you have worked with disabled children and young people before, that will be great but don’t worry if you haven’t because we offer a really good training programme and have lots of very experienced staff for you to work with and learn how we do things at CamPlay.

Even though you might want to work now and again so you can fit this in with another job or college and university courses, we like you to feel a part of the team so you will be invited to Team Meetings and Group Supervisions to make sure you are keeping up to date with the latest developments.

It’s really important to us at CamPlay to make sure that our children are kept safe and safeguarding children is an important part of this job.

This is an ongoing recruitment campaign and interviews will be held regularly.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to be reflective of this diversity, which we believe benefits our employees, the organisation and our communities.
