t CamPlay we are looking for creative and proactive Play Leaders to support disabled children and young people aged 6-19 years within our Holiday Clubs based across the county.

We are specifically looking for workers to join our team who are willing to work in the Cambridge area

CamPlay run Holiday clubs in Cambridge, Ely, Huntingdon, March, St Neots and Wisbech.

It’s a busy place to be at CamPlay however, working within our supportive team, you will enjoy your work with us and feel a real sense of achievement on the way home!

We are child centered and think it’s really important to encourage independence and social skills at every opportunity.

It’s also really important to us to make sure that all staff can share this way of working and work together in a really positive way for the young people at CamPlay.

Planning activities should be something that you really enjoy doing, your creative flair will come to the forefront and you will make sure that you are giving our young people the best time at CamPlay.

Leading a small group of staff should be something that you are confident to do but will also have the support of the wider staff team around you. You will be able to write interesting and factual reports about what the young people have been doing whilst they’ve been at CamPlay.

You need to be able to be part of the hardworking and friendly team but you will need to be able to think on your feet and work from your own creativity at times, as well.

Flexibility is really important when working with our young people, environments can change and you’ll need to be a great communicator to make sure that our young people have the best time when they are with us.

It would be great if you have worked with disabled children and young people before, but we can offer you lots of really good training to help you with this.

Even though you might want to work now and again so you can fit this in with another job or college and university courses, we like you to feel a part of the team so you will be invited to Team Meetings and Group Supervisions to make sure you are keeping up to date with the latest developments.

It’s really important to us at CamPlay to make sure that our children are kept safe and safeguarding children is an important part of this job.

This is an ongoing recruitment campaign and interviews will be held regularly.
We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to be reflective of this diversity, which we believe benefits our employees, the organisation and our communities.
