We are looking for people to join the Waste Education team to promote and communicate the waste and recycling services to the residents of Peterborough and to assist in the implementation of the Council's recycling commitments and policies.
In this role you will be responsible for promoting and delivering targeted communication and educational resources to enhance residents' knowledge of the recycling and waste service offered by Peterborough City Council and the Councils partner Aragon Direct Services. In addition this role will support the wider team in increasing the number of flats in the City provided with a food waste collection service.
Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to demonstrate an innovative, creative and enthusiastic approach to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to get commitment and buy in from a wide range of stakeholders.
The ability to converse in more than one language would be beneficial but not essential. Part time hours and flexible working arrangements will be considered for this job role.
