We have exciting opportunities available for Support Workers within Peterborough City Council’s Reablement Service.
The role offers the perfect work/ life balance with our shift pattern that requires only 7 working days across 2 weeks. Every other week you will only work 2 days! See attached document for an example of the shift pattern.
We have several vacancies ranging from 21 hours through to 35 hours per week. There are evening only positions, which are perfect for working mums, offering a start time that gives plenty of time for finishing the school run.
You will be based in the community, visiting clients in their homes and providing them with the care and support they require to meet their individual daily goals. The role requires you to work independently but provides you with advice and support at the end of a phone.

If you have great verbal and written communication skills, are caring and enjoy working with the public and want a rewarding career, this may be the role for you.
We offer full training with formal qualifications in health & social care, regular support meetings, work mobile phone and uniform. You will also be entered into the local government pension scheme and mileage rates are paid at 30p per mile.
