We have exciting opportunities available for Support Workers within Peterborough City Council’s Reablement Service.

The role offers the perfect work/ life balance with our shift pattern that requires only 7 working days across 2 weeks. Every other week you will only work 2 days!

Week 1: Monday Day off/Tuesday Day off/Wednesday Day off/Thursday Work Friday Work/Saturday Day off/Sunday Day off
Week 2:Monday Work/Tuesday Work/Wednesday Work/Thursday Day off Friday Day off/Saturday Work/Sunday Work
We have 4 vacancies at the following hours:
2 x 16-hour positions with the daily hours being 5:30pm – 10:00pm
1 x 28-hour position working the daily hours of 7:30am-1:00pm & 4:00pm-6:30pm
1 x 35-hour position working the daily hours of 8:00am-14:00pm & 5:30-9:30pm


You will be based in the community, visiting clients in their homes and providing them with the care and support they require to meet their individual daily goals. The role requires you to work independently but provides you with advice and support at the end of a phone.

We offer full training with formal qualifications in health & social care, regular support meetings, work mobile phone and uniform. You will also be entered into the local government pension scheme and mileage rates are paid at 30p per mile.

We also offer a three-year paid retention bonus scheme to new staff members adding up to £3,000.
