We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our busy Reablement service to work 37 hours per week. Our service is Therapy led providing full holistic assessments within the clients home and completing Reablement Goal setting in collaboration with the client.

You will be required to:

• Manage your own caseload effectively and efficiently and providing clinical guidance and support to their therapist within the reablement team
• Manage both qualified therapists and assistants, supporting their continued professional development
• Working within the reablement management team to support new challenges and growth of the service
• Work effectively within a fast paced service to meet service timeframes of assessment within 48 hours of service commencing, and complete timely reports.
• Deliver holistic assessments of clients care needs and housing adaptations.
• Provide appropriate equipment, Assistive technology and arrange Minor adaptations.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support the efficient running of the reablement service.
• Work closely with reablement colleagues to ensure positive outcomes for all clients.

Our Occupational Therapists support clients to increase levels of independence through collaborative goal setting for daily activities, as well as providing equipment and assistive technology that helps them to remain living independently in their own home for as long as possible.

Our staff tell us that seeing clients gain greater levels of independence through collaborative goal setting and equipment provision provides high levels of job satisfaction. They also report that they value being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that enables them to continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
