Peterborough Reablement service have an exciting new role within the team for an Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will work directly under the guidance and supervision of our Occupational Therapist’s to provide therapeutic goal setting. Our aim is to assist Reablement Clients to maximise their independence and increase their confidence.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving client well-being, working with other like-minded individuals whose aim is to deliver high standards of, care support assessment.
You should be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment, previous therapy assessment experience would be of an advantage, although we are willing to consider applications from individuals who have worked in similar roles and would support training within this role.
The role involves visiting clients in their own homes, completing reablement assessments, providing aids and adaptations where appropriate and which meets criteria.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, we will provide training to support this new role within the service.
