Further Information
Are you interested in using your analytical skills and coding experience to help advance understanding of mental health and services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough?

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person who can apply analytical techniques to the wealth of data available in the system on mental and community health. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills including experience of using packages such as R, Python or SQL, and be able to demonstrate some work in these areas. They will work closely with intelligence teams in the councils, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust (CPFT), Clinical Commissioning Group and other partners in the system to deliver true system-level intelligence on population health.

We are looking for someone that is committed to applying their excellent technical skills to the analysis and presentation of data in innovative ways, to enable change.

This unique post sits half time in the NHS community and mental health service provider Trust (CPFT), and half time in the local authority public health team which works across Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council. You will be able to benefit from the expertise in all three organisations and enhance understanding of mental health across the whole system.

It does not matter if you have not worked in health and social care before, we are more interested in aptitude to learn and apply your skill set. This is a great opportunity for somebody passionate about coding and data analysis to join three organisations determined to maximise the impact of health intelligence on health and wellbeing outcomes in mental health.

There is a large degree of flexibility regarding where you deliver your role as a hybrid worker within the local authority, and this can be discussed with the successful candidate.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
