Further Information
Peterborough is full of opportunity as a place to live and work. We need a new analyst to join our public health intelligence team for Peterborough City Council. The intelligence work is vital for improving the health and wellbeing of our residents, and tackling the inequalities in health that persist in our area.

This is a perfect earlier role for someone with analytical skills and aptitude who wants to develop a career in the fascinating field of public health or the wider public sector. We are looking for a new colleague with some existing data and analytic skills, and who has a talent (and ideally experience) for working with data and presenting it to different audiences. We need someone who is fast to learn new skills and pick up the context of our work quickly, and who can work in our central Peterborough office when required as well as from home. You do not need to have worked in public health before. This is a one year fixed term role.

As a Public Health Analyst at Peterborough City Council, you will have access to a range of benefits including:

• Generous annual leave entitlement starting at 25 days per year + bank holidays (FTE) and flexible bank holidays
• Comprehensive pension scheme with employer contributions of 17.5%(current)
• Flexible and hybrid working opportunities
• Vivup, our employee benefits platform with access to salary sacrifice options for home electronics, gym membership, travel & leisure
• Paid volunteer leave - access to volunteering opportunities within the Peterborough area
• Access to a car lease salary sacrifice scheme
• Parking at a significantly reduced cost in a range of PCC car parks across the City Centre
• Enhanced family leave policies
• Purchase additional annual leave – up to ten days per year (FTE)
• We pay for professional or subscription fees where qualification or membership of a professional body is an essential part of the role
