Public Health Insight and Intelligence Analyst

THIS ROLE IS FIXED TERM UNTIL MARCH 2024

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are wonderful places to live and work. We need a new short-term analyst (until end March 2024) to join our intelligence team within the public health directorate which covers both local authorities. The intelligence work is vital for improving the health and wellbeing of our residents, and tackling the inequalities in health that persist in our area.

This is a perfect earlier role for someone with analytical skills and aptitudes who wants to develop a career in the fascinating field of public health or the wider public sector. We are looking for a new colleague with some existing data and analytic skills, and who has a talent (and ideally experience) for working with data and presenting it to different audiences. We need someone who is fast to learn new skills and pick up the context of our work quickly, and who can work from home as well as in our offices when required. You do not need to have worked in public health before.

We offer flexible working, a good salary and a commitment to training and development.

THIS ROLE IS FIXED TERM UNTIL MARCH 2024

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire/Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
