Peterborough City Council are looking for an experienced programme manager to join their Integration and Cohesion team.

Over the last few years, the council has helped to resettle refugees from conflicts in Syria and Afghanistan and is now expanding this work to help deal with the crisis in Ukraine. Our work helps to give displaced families a new life in the UK, helping to ensure that refugees have the tools and support they need.

Joining a small and busy team, you will work with services across the council, local voluntary and community organisations and Government departments to help ensure that the council’s refugee resettlement programme is meeting the needs of newly arrived and settled refugees. As the programme manager, you will oversee all aspects of the resettlement programmes, working closely with a local charity to manage day-day case work.

You will be experienced at managing complex projects and programmes, have excellent organisational and planning, is flexible and can quickly developed strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

The post is based in Sand Martin House, Peterborough with hybrid working available.
