An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safer Communities Service which tackles crime and disorder and improves the quality of life for people who live in and visit the city. The service is responsible for a broad range of community safety issues including parking, environmental crime, city centre management, CCTV, anti-social behavior and neighborhood enforcement.
A key part of the Problem-Solving Officer role will be to collate evidence, undertake visits, conduct community engagement and support investigations for the purpose of implementing and enforcing a range of community safety legislation and measures. The role will also see the post holder coordinating multi-agency approaches to tackling anti-social behaviour and community safety issues.
