An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable, experienced and skilled Principal Social Worker (PSW) in Adult Social Care.
The role will report directly to the Executive Director of Adult Social Services (DASS) and works closely with Service Directors, Heads of Service and all key colleagues across adult social care and external partners to shape, influence, guide and promote social work practice. The Principal Social Worker (PSW) provides professional leadership for social work across adult social care and will be an ambassador of strengths-based practice and will lead an approach to our citizens that is person centred and community connected.
The PSW will lead on quality and assurance of practice, ensuring the right governance is in place, identifying priorities for improvement and driving that improvement continuously forwards, leading and managing an efficient and effective Quality and Practice Team.
