This in an exciting opportunity to join the Transport and Environment Team who are working towards reducing Peterborough’s carbon emissions to net-zero by 2030 following its declaration of a climate emergency.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for environmental issues who has experience of managing complex programmes of work that require the buy in and support of a wide range of stakeholders.
To be successful in the role, you’ll have extensive knowledge of environmental matters and issues, specifically relating to energy, sustainability and Climate Change in a local government context. You should have experience of managing a small team, raising awareness of environmental issues and delivering tangible projects that reduce carbon emissions.
