Peterborough City Council are seeking a person to work in the Street works Team, dealing with the co-ordination of works on the highway network to ensure the works are managed accurately and efficiently in line with aims of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
You will process the incoming permit applications in accordance with the legislation and national conditions. The successful applicant will also be responsible for processing of traffic orders and other licence applications as necessary to meet the needs of the team and the co-ordination of works on the highway network.
