Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council deliver a range of Evidence Based Parenting Programmes, to support adults in their role as parents, as part of our early help offer. The service supports the emotional health and well being of children and young people across the county. We are required to provide information about access to the evidence based parenting programmes to the Clinical Commissioning Group and submit data to the NHS via the Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS) for inclusion into the Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS).

We are looking for an individual who is confident in collecting and inputting data on a variety of platforms. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously to determine data entry requirements and be able to collect the appropriate data. They will need to be able to work quickly and accurately to meet submission deadlines. They will work with a range of organisations and partners, to collect information about the parenting programmes, but also to ensure that we are meeting the needs of the Clinical Commissioning Group and the NHS. Therefore good communication skills will be essential

The data and information will require proactively analysing and clear and comprehensive reports relating not only on the number of programmes delivered but on their impact. The successful candidate will be able to write comprehensive reports that will support decisions made about the ongoing delivery of evidence based parenting programmes.

This role sits within the Children’s Prevention and Early Help Team, based at Sand Martin House in Peterborough. This team work with a wide range of partners to support children, young people, and parents/carers.
