Clare Lodge is a 16 bedded all female secure children’s home in Glinton, Peterborough. We have an exciting opportunity for Residential Workers to join our expanding service. The successful applicant may have had experience of working with young people in a variety of ways or may have transferrable skills from other roles.

The young people at Clare Lodge require intense support because of their complex needs. The work is both rewarding and challenging with good outcomes for the young people. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team who will support you in your work. You will be able to work co-operatively in a small team supporting your colleagues, managing risky situations, being calm and nurturing.

Requirements/Skills
- An ability to work flexibly including weekends and bank holidays.
- Experience of working with children/young people.
- A commitment to undertake training to assist you with your role.
- An enthusiasm to engage the children in therapeutic work.

You will act in a key worker role, be able to manage challenging behaviour and learn how to manage risk. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate resilience, flexibility and stamina. Good interpersonal skills are vital as interactions with a range of professionals, parents and colleagues will also be necessary. This is a rewarding position with opportunities for training and development.
