Following the success of our current cohort of social workers moving through their ASYE year we are now in a position to recruit our next group of newly qualified social workers to join Children’s Social Care. We have had an exciting year with a number of new initiatives. There has been growth in the 0-25 Disability Service, with this now being made up of 2 teams, 0-14 and 15-25. Family Safeguarding has adult workers sitting in social care teams. The management group is now almost entirely permanent staff which makes a difference to providing consistency to staff.
