We currently have opportunities for a multi skilled Motor Vehicle tutor to join City College Peterborough.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and confident multi skilled tutor to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our study programme provision, on a term time only basis (37 hours per week).

This exciting role will involve the design and delivery of Motor Vehicle along with the ability to teach an additional vocational area or functional skills, to a wide range of students, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position. The successful candidate will need to be vocationally qualified to at least Level 3 in Motor Vehicle repair and be able to demonstrate in depth subject knowledge.

Whilst we continue to welcome applications from experienced teaching professionals, teaching experience is not essential. We will be delighted to support the professional development of individuals who are passionate about the Industry, have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to join the education profession.

All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced criminal records with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The successful candidate will be required to:
? Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Motor Vehicle
? Multi- skilled teaching ability
? Establish effective working relationships with young people
? Monitor, support and record learner progress
? Provide innovative and stimulating training
? Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
