We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our busy Communications team.

As one of the fastest growing cities in the country, we have lots to say. We’re a modern thinking council, with a clear focus on identifying and developing new ways of working to provide the good quality services that our residents require.

As Marketing Officer you would play a key role in communicating with the public through the development and delivery of creative and engaging marketing campaigns that promote the council’s services and products.

Applicants need to have significant experience of creating and managing marketing campaigns in complex organisations. They should also possess detailed knowledge and experience of utilising multiple marketing channels to support campaigns, including in particular digital marketing and video production.

In addition, we are looking for someone with excellent writing and editorial skills and the ability to and provide expert advice to officers and councillors.

Applicants ideally need to be able to demonstrate experience and/or awareness of working in a political environment and be able to form and maintain strong productive, professional working relationships with councillors, staff and partners at all levels.
