Cambridgeshire County Council currently have a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Public Health Team as a Local Test & Trace Operations Manager, working across both Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This opportunity is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Local Test & Trace Operations Manager will be the operational lead for a range of local COVID-19 testing and contact tracing services. It is anticipated that local authorities will play an increasingly large role in supporting NHS Test and Trace meaning you will play a crucial role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a fast-paced and varied role, which will require you to work with a wide range of stakeholders and manage complex projects and services.
To be successful in this high profile and varied role you will:
• Have a Degree in a relevant health related / environmental health related field.
• Have experience of day to day management of an operational team, preferably within a Health or Environmental health
• Have proven ability to problem solve whilst working in an unpredictable environment, often under pressure and to tight timescales and changing requirements
• Have the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimum supervision
