A great opportunity has arisen for a strong generalist HR Manager to lead our progressive, business partnering support function located in our new offices in Peterborough. This is a demanding and fast paced role which requires the candidate to a have a professional and proactive hands-on approach to support Senior Managers and other key stakeholders to coach, guide and implement strategies to meet both long-term and short-term goals.

To succeed in this role you will need to have a proven track record in managing HR Professionals, dealing with complex case work and have operated in a fast paced change environment leading organisational change projects, working with trade unions in order to deliver constructive and pragmatic outcomes.

You will possess strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders both internal and in partnership with other organisations. You will be part of a strong and effective wider HR management team which encompasses, Policy and Reward; Workforce and Corporate Development; Organisational Design and Occupational Health.

The successful applicant must possess a flexible approach; a can-do mentality and excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and support senior managers to meet their ever challenging customer demands. You will also be CIPD qualified or working towards. Other relevant professional qualifications will be considered.
