through the use of private rented sector accommodation.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about resolving
homelessness to join our busy Housing Needs service.
You will be responsible for:
? Procuring accomodation in the private rented sector.
? Liaising with private sector landlords to encourage them to offer accommodation to
households in need.
? Promoting a Landlord Incentive Scheme.
? Negotiating with landlords and tenants.
? Offering support to tenants threatened with homelessness.`
Ideally you will have a detailed knowledge of the private rented sector and homelessness.
Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as a member of a
busy team. You will also have experience of working with challenging clients with multiple
needs and be able to work effectively when under pressure.
