An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Housing Needs Team.


We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an interest in housing and customer service, to join our busy front line housing advice service.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of officers responsible for support households who are homeless or threatened with homelessness
• Providing support to the team with case management and problem solving
• Ensuring compliance with legislation and council policy & procedure
• Representing the service at various forums in relation to homelessness

It is essential that you have up to date knowledge of Housing & Homelessness legislation.

Ideally you will have experience of managing a team delivering homelessness services, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team. You will also have experience of dealing with challenging customers with multiple needs.
