We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an interest in housing
and customer service, to join our busy front line housing advice service.
You will be responsible for:
· Giving housing advice to the residents of the city both face to face and on
the telephone.
· Triage of applicants in order to identify potential homelessness and use of
prevention tools to keep them in their homes
· Assisting in the delivery of our statutory services around homelessness
Ideally you will have knowledge of social housing, excellent customer service
skills and the ability to work as part of a team. You will also have experience
of dealing with challenging customers with multiple needs.
Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced
Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is
