Peterborough City Council is looking for dynamic and innovative individuals to support the development of Peterborough’s House Project.
This new and exciting project will work intensively with approximately 10 children in care and care leavers at any one time, to enable them to develop their own House Project, prepare them for independence and support them to secure their own long-term tenancy and maintain an Education, Employment and Training (EET) pathway.
The successful candidate(s) will provide direct support to our young people in care and leaving care who have been referred to the House Project, ensuring they have the maximum possible ownership of the project, maintain their membership and achieve good outcomes.
The post holder will have to work tenaciously, flexibly and in an entirely solution focused and empowering way. They will need to keep to the principles and objectives of the House Project Framework at all times and to work in partnership with all functions in Children's Social Care, all corporate parents, relevant partners and members of the wider corporate family
