The HR team have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join us as we support the business to develop and implement innovative new ways of working to deliver the many and varied services of Peterborough City Council.

This is a demanding role supporting the team to tackle a broad range of HR and employee relations issues. A flexible approach is essential to enable the HR team to manage employee relations cases, change management programmes and provide innovative HR solutions across multiple and diverse services within a rapidly changing environment.

The successful applicant must have a customer focus and can-do mentality, have the ability to multi-task along with an understanding of employment legislation. Excellent communication skills are essential in this role to support both the business and the team.
