HM Coroner for Peterborough serves a culturally diverse community. The current postholder is retiring, and applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals. This appointment is for a part-time Coroner.
The Peterborough jurisdiction comprises the whole of Peterborough and we are looking for exceptional candidates with proven administration, leadership, efficiency and budgetary control ability. This post holder will need to be flexible to the needs of the community, and will have excellent communication skills.
Peterborough is a great place to live and work with cultural attractions, sporting facilities and excellent road rail, sea and air transport connections.
The successful applicant will be a barrister, solicitor or medical practitioner with proven post-qualifying experience in either discipline and with experience as a Coroner, Deputy or Assistant Coroner and of running a busy Coroner’s court unless demonstrable significant equivalent can be presented.
