City college Peterborough are proud to be delivering the £5.2m Health and Care Sector Work Academy on behalf of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority. As a Mentor you will play a pivotal part in its success, by completing screenings, enrolments, and employability techniques. As well as monitoring progress and developing new and existing career paths for our participants.

Strong inter-personal and organisational skills are required for this post and the successful candidate will be able to work flexibly across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The ability to work as part of a team and to be self-motivating is essential

ESSENTIAL PERSONAL QUALITIES OF THE POST HOLDER

This is a challenging post playing a key part in the project start up and then continuing success, development and expansion of the project for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The successful applicant will be a dynamic individual who is learner focussed: who has an understanding of the market in which we operate and values the opportunities available through partnerships working. Our colleague will be clear-sited, able to meet challenges head-on, with the ability to identify new opportunities and to develop those opportunities, exploiting them to the best advantage for our learners.
