An opportunity has arisen within children in care services, for a Group Manager to support the Head of Service in further improving the quality and performance.
You will lead a well established group of team managers, within children in care. The successful post holder will ensure the vision set by Children’s Services is delivered operationally.
The successful post holder will offer regular supervision to the 4 team managers, promoting the values of the organisation at all times. The post holder will also support the Head of Service through delivering operational support, project management as well as deputising when and where appropriate.
The service is one of promoting innovation based upon solid quality of practice while improving performance consistently. The post holder will have a key role to play in delivering this vision.
The successful post holder, will be responsible for children in care, young people leaving care and the supervised contact service.
