This is a very exciting time to join our newly created fostering service, as we have modernised and aligned the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough fostering teams. You will be involved from the start in supporting the service to build on its strengths and become an outstanding fostering agency. A commitment and passion for supporting foster families and the children in care that they are looking after is essential.
We have vacancies for fostering social workers in both the recruitment & assessment team and the supervision team. If you have skills and experience in recruiting, assessing and supporting foster families we would love to hear from you.
We are a friendly, hardworking and dedicated staff group who offer a supportive work environment.
You must be a qualified social worker with current SWE registration, we are a countywide service and willingness to travelling is essential as some assessments are undertaken out of
county. The successful candidate should also have the ability to work flexibly including some
evenings and occasional weekends.
